SLI is a registered charity in the form of two community gardening projects based in Norwich. We provide a space for members to share knowledge, skills, seeds, tools and a cup of tea.

On Saturday 31st March, thieves broke into our secured shipping container, cutting through a heavy duty padlock and took approximately £1000's worth of tools and equipment which is provided for our members to use as part of their membership at Marlpit Community Garden. Here's an EDP Article explaining what happened.

School groups, individuals, families and local organisation all make use of the garden and rely on this equipment. As a registered charity we do not have the funds to replace all the things which were stolen from us. If anybody is able to donate to help us buy new equipment and continue bringing people together through gardening and environmental projects we would be extremely grateful.
