'Ben Nevis trek to raise funds for the SMC Oasis Community Hub in St. Mary Cray, Orpington.

The staff at Kings College Hospital NHS trust are climbing Ben Nevis on the 12 th August 2017 to raise funds for the SMC Oasis Community Hub. The SMC Oasis project was started in May 2017 to support children aged 0 to 5 and their families by providing a friendly, nurturing environment in an area where more pre-school support is needed. All the support we offer is FREE to all. The children and parents get quality play sessions together and parents get classes on aspects of parenting and family learning while their children are in a good quality crèche. There is also a weekly drop-in session providing professional support on benefits, work and housing and "Tea and Toast" five mornings a week. The Hub is located adjacent to the St Mary Cray Primary Academy and is free and open to all.

We are fundraising to provide healthy eating and cooking classes as well as fitness sessions, which will positively impact the participating family's health and fitness.
