Wills Way is a charity set up in the name of a young rugby player named Will Barker. In September 2016, aged just 15, Will was diagnosed with a left Cerebellar Diffused Astrocytoma Grade. Despite adversity Wills bravery and courage is an example to everyone and we wanted to try and help in some small way.

Joe McGann [aged10] who plays rugby league for Ryland Sharks in Warrington was diagnosed with a cancer tumour on his windpipe - Carcinoid Tumour, and had to undergo several operations at Alder Hey, resulting in a 14 hour operation at Great Ormond Street. Wills Way helped Joe cope with this life threatening illness in many amazing ways, providing great level of support throughout and making sure Joe had a smile on his face as much as possible.

As a big thank you to Wills Way in helping Joe, and to promote the great work this charity is undertaking I am trying to raise as much money as possible. On May 20th me and my mate Jack Hallam will be competing in the Great Manchester Run 10k with my not so very 'fit' Dad and we also will attempt the 'Yorkshire 3 Peak' walk in August. The Yorkshire 3 Peaks is a 24mile challenge to be complete within 12 hours!!! Ouch!!!! :) Anyone wanting to join us please let us know, the more support the better!! :)
