Story

Hesketh House girls and staff will embark on a virtual journey from Bolton School to Malawi...walking, running, swimming or an activity of their choice to help raise funds for this project.

Together, we will build a school community 12,000km away to ensure the young orphans of Malawi can access education and the basic things we take for granted. The only way to combat child poverty is in the words of Whitney Houston, “Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside. Give them a sense of pride.”

Back in December Rydal House raised £232. Working as a team, they made over 300 Christmas tree decorations to sell to friends and family.

What an amazing achievement… to raise 10% of our goal in just 10 weeks is just sensational! Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed so far. Hesketh House girls, many of you have stepped outside your comfort zones to give generously to those less fortunate. You are true ambassadors of Bolton School… go out into the world and shine brightly.
