Two years ago I raised money for the kids in the orphanage in Yakoruda, Bulgaria. The experience really taught me that it was one of the most rewarding things I could have done and hopefully for those of you that donated at the time too. Now I am about to turn 30 in April and I wanted to get those kids both the hope that there are caring people out in the world, those that love and can give back, and also more tangibly allow them to maybe just for a moment have a birthday that feels real, similar to what so many other kids around them are having.

To raise the money I am planning to cycle 300km in 24 hours, from Sheffield to London (10km for every year). This is not something that I would do easily. Even now, as I am preparing for the attempt I can tell it will be difficult, probably more than I expect. However, I want to use this moment to make those kids happy, to give them hope, to give them the example of striving and working hard with dedication for what they believe in while also taking care of those around them.

As the previous time, I will make sure personally that the kids get presents for the full amount of money. In that sense there are no fees, paying people in a chain of delivery and all of the money will go to the kids.
