Story
We are part of a team of volunteers who will be hiking up Snowdon, Wales in August 2024. Snowdon has an elevation of 1,085 metres above sea level, which makes it both the highest mountain in Wales and the highest in the British Isles south of the Scottish Highlands.
Why are we doing this?
The Guru Projects Foundation has already performed over 500 eye operations on its first two projects in Colombia. We want to do more. The money raised from this charity endeavour will help us to purchase the necessary equipment to perform more sight saving surgery in Colombia and beyond. We are a small charity with big ambitions. We believe nobody should be living with an avoidable cause of blindness. It is our vision to help people who have difficulty accessing the healthcare that they deserve.
Your donation will go to helping someone get better vision, get back to work and give people back the independence lost though having poor vision. You will change a life.
