Hi all I'm Donna Lancashire, I'm trying to raise funds so that my family can be a family again and my beautiful daughter sophie Buchanan can live a normal life as possible and not be in rehab or living in hospital.My whole world fell apart when my daughter contracted pneumococcal meningitis and septicemia in May 2017, there was many times we nearly lost her but after battling hard to beat this she's still here.. but it has left her with a brain injury so is unable to breathe so is fully vented. She also has spinal cord damage which means she cannot move and is now paralysed from the neck down...all this means she now needs 24 hour care , it breaks my heart so much but she's battled through the hard times and never given up .... But now we are faced with having to go back to hospital from rehab as no housing has been sorted from council. I've never asked for anything but I feel I need my family back together, we are coming up to a year of being apart 7 months in ICU and 4 months in rehab I have never left soph which means my other children have been away from us for most of this time. If we have to go back to hospital with out finding housing this could mean Sophie will be stuck in hospital for months, maybe years which means my family being apart even longer and soph will have lost the independence she will have gained and the progress she has made while being at the children's trust this isn't fair for this to happen,Soph never asked for any of this. I just want what any other parent would want for there child to be able to come home n live as a normal family life as possible and for her to be free she's not ill and doesn't need hospital and hospital holds so many painful memories for all of us .shes still my Soph she just now has complex care needs but is still Sophie ❤️❤️ please help me and my family get a home so it can be adapted so my beautiful daughter can have a home..🌻Thanks so much for any support big or small it means so much to our family❤️❤️
