Sophie is was born with a rare condition called Optic Nerve Hypoplasia (ONH). This means instead of having millions of nerve fibres from each eye to the brain she has far fewer, leaving Sophie blind.

In 2014 through the love, help and support of so many, Sophie Michelle's Fund raised £40,000 to pay for pioneering stem cell treatment in Thailand, the treatment had a positive effect giving Sophie light perception, so she can now differentiate between light and dark.

It would be amazing to send Sophie back to Thailand for a second treatment to give her a real chance of sight so Scrapper's Cup 2018 will be helping her on her way by donating all funds raised through this link and on the day to Sophie Michelle's Fund.
