Story
9 year old Sophie Ashlee is Many Tears' Biggest Fan.
On Saturday 23rd September 2017 Sophie is taking part in the Hever Triathlon at Hever Castle in Kent to help raise money for the rescue dogs at Many Tears Rescue Centre in Wales.
The triathlon consists of a 100m open water swim in the castle lake, followed by a 4km bike ride then a 1.4km run in the castle grounds.
Sophie says 'I am already training hard for this event and would be most grateful if people would be generous enough to sponsor me for my efforts'.

7 years agoSophie was an absolute Superstar. She finished the triathlon in 417/533 entrants. She struggled with the swim, but refused to accept the assistance offered as she was determined to do it unaided. Despite being last to exit the lake in her group the bike and run went really well and she overtook several of her competitors. She finished strongly with a smile on her face and Flint was waiting to cheer her over the finish line. She enjoyed it so much she's entered again for next year. A huge thank you to everyone that sponsored her xxx
