‘ Soph ‘ is my 8 year old daughter Sophielee, a brave, strong and couragious young lady whos life was turned upside down a few months ago on being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, an auto immune condition which means through no fault of her own, her pancreas has decided to stop working meaning she will need to inject herself multiple times daily for the rest of her life.

Rather than being knocked down by this and be upset about what has happened she has decided to turn a negative into a positive and has challenged herself to raise £5000 for Sheffield Childrens Hospital Diabetes ward/team

Throughout the year she is wanting to do a variety of events including dog walking, car washing, ‘sponsored’ events such as ‘sleeping with sharks’ at the Sealife centre, open an ‘online shop’ do car boots and thats just a few of the ideas she has had

I’m determined to help her achieve her goal therefore my plea is would anyone be kind enough to donate anything for our cause, whether a kind donation through Just Giving, a raffle or tombola prizes or even if you’re having a clear out of bits that she can sell that you would have otherwise have been binning for the proceeds to all go to the charity
