Story
Since 2014, staff at Southport Fire and ambulance station have worked hard to privide local OAPs with a very special christmas day.
We privide a meal, a gift, free transport and entertainment to pensioners in our area, who for whatever reason are alone on Christmas Day.
Many of our guests are very lonley, have no family and can be quite vunerable. Lots of our guests can go weeks without seeing another person.
Our guests from previous years have had a wonderful Christmas with us and have told us how much our Christmas day meal means to them.
With your help, we would love to be able to continue holding our pensioners christmas day parties. Every year the party, the meal, the transport, entertainment and gifts can cost in excess of £1000. Please help us continue to hold our Christmas day parties as they bring so much joy to some very lonely vunerable people during the season of goodwill.
