Last year my Mother sadly passed away. During the later stages of her illness she spent time on the Amethyst Ward at Grimsby Hospital.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff on the ward, the care they provided was excellent.
I am taking part in the Hanover Marathon in April, and then in August I will taking part in the Cotswolds 24hr challenge, a 24hr running event.
I am using these events as a way to raise money for the Amethyst Ward as a way to say thank you, and to help them maintain the standard of care.
