On Sunday 17th September 2017, I will be running the English Half Marathon in Warrington to raise funds to support the family of Adam 'Carney' Cooper. Adam played Rugby League for our local club, Culcheth Eagles, and tragically passed away after collapsing during a game against Runcorn in July. He leaves behind three children including a daughter, Ava, who attends nursery with our daughter, Holly.

Training has gone to plan going into the last week (including a 12 mile run and running in some horrendous conditions!) - I'm hoping for some reasonable weather on the day to allow me to beat the two-hour mark. You can find more information on the race at http://ehm.contest-sports.com/

As no registered charity has been established, with the permission of Shell, (Ava's mum) I have set up this crowdfunding page with a view to making a personal donation to the family of any funds raised.
