We are raising funds for the Stony Stratford Cricket Club Girls section who are planning a Tour to South Africa in October 2017.

The girls have set themselves a very ambitious target to raise £20,000 to cover the costs of the tour for them as well as donation to both Stony Stratford CC and the Gary Kirsten Foundation in Cape Town which seeks to take cricket into the townships. We will be playing a team from the foundation as part of the tour and will learn about the work they do and the impact that cricket is having on the lives of the children there. The tour cost is around £1200 per girl and the balance of any fundraising will be split equally between the other two organisations.

We are planning to raise money through a series of fundraising events as well as seeking grants, donations and sponsorships. We already have plans for a number of raffles and events during the summer with plans for more still to be finalised.
