What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Society of Theatrical Arts Butler are planning our first ever Summer Charity Shakespeare Challenge! We will have 5 days to put together, learn, and rehearse one of Shakespeare's most brilliant comedies, 'Much Ado About Nothing', beginning on the 11th with the performance on the 16th of June. It should be hilarious, with an awful lot of improvisation and making fools of ourselves in front of a large crowd of friends and peers (all in the name of an excellent cause, of course!).

We are supporting Student Minds, a charity devoted exclusively to student mental health in educational institutions accross the UK. Almost everyone you meet at university will have been affected either directly, or through a friend, by issues surrounding student mental health.Whilst the services available for students to get help are expanding quickly, the epidemic that is poor mental health at universities remains unacceptable and dangerous. Student Minds are at the forefront of this movement to truly provide help to everyone that needs it.
