As most of you know 3rd Dec 2017 was a heartbreaking morning! After seemingly getting better from an illness, Bruce died suddenly in our home over night, leaving Me, Lee, Dylan, Emma & Laura totally heartbroken. 3 months on and I still feel as heartbroken as I did on that morning.

For selfish purposes (at first) I started to dog walk at the local rescues so I could get the dog fix I needed to help heal after losing my boy! I soon fell in love with a dog called Lottie who had a rough start in life but is now due to come home with our family where we can give her the time, attention, training and most importantly, love that she deserves.

This still leaves so many dogs without the loving home they so desperately crave, but this rescue really do go all out to give the animals what they can in the interim and I only have to watch my wary Lottie with the staff to know how much effort they put in because she adores them... so I want to continue to help.

Those of you who know me will know I LOVE the sound of my own voice, I am loud, chatty, swear an awful lot and enjoy a fair bit of banter! I am willing to give that up for 24 hours if you are willing to sponsor me whatever you can afford no matter how small! This money will then be used to purchase gifts to surprise the animals at the rescue, they have no idea the help the have provided me with and a little peace after losing Bruce.

Please help me say thank you and give back a little something to help.

My 24 hours of silence will take place on 1st April 2018 a day where I will be with the kids and Lee they will be judging my progress... yes I am also aware it is April Fools which will make it even harder for me!!!!

I will post updates of my progress via Lee and then pictures of the gifts when they are presented to Maxicare.
