My two dogs had five of the most adorable puppies. I wanted them to have one litter before spraying them. Tragically four of our five passed away within only the first three days of being born through their mother crushing them and dehydration, despite our three desperate attempts at two of our local Vets4Pets. One little girl survived. Our beautiful princess, Sweep.
Sweep has been hand fed for the six weeks we have had her. She drinks from a bottle and sleeps in an enclosed area with her mum so dad cannot interfere. Our dad just got neutered on Monday to prevent any further puppies.
I am trying to raise money because both my dogs are ensured with the best policy, but my beautiful Sweep cannot be as she is not 8 weeks yet. I returned home from work and all was fine, so I decided to have a bath which lasted no longer than 15 minutes. When I returned down stairs their was blood on the puppy pad and Sweep was still. I rushed her to the out of hours so quickly...
'Head Trauma' the vet said. Mum or dad played too rough while I was in the bath and she suffered a blow to the head. The blood was from her ear and she is in critical condition. It was £450 to take her off oxygen but only £601 to keep her overnight and monitored. I can't lose my survivor.
This is my final, desperate attempt to save her life. If this doesn't work I will get the money somehow, but I had to give her the best chance for life. We don't know if she is going to make it through the night, but all I can do is hope that she can soldier on for us and for herself.
Please if you have the time please help us if you can to pay her vet bill. I want to see her happy and live a full life with us.
