£655raised of £500 target by 41 supporters

Weʼve raised £655 to help towards new sports equipment and supporting activities for St Anne's CE Lydgate Primary School

    Oldham, United Kingdom
Funded on Monday, 15th January 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

On October 7th, two teachers from St Anne's CE Lydgate Primary School are taking on the gruelling task of The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge!

Hi all, it's me Mr Henley alongside Mr Casey (helloooo) and we have come to ask for your support towards our little challenge. Or big challenge. In fact, 3 BIG challenges! We have both decided to raise money for our school by climbing The Yorkshire Three peaks.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The route is 24-miles long, and includes 5,200ft (1,585m) of climbing. We're out of breath just saying it!

The money raised will go towards purchasing new sports equipment for the children as well as supporting activities that the whole school will benefit from.

I can't tell you how grateful I am for all of your kind words and support for this gruelling challenge. We've had swollen hands, blisters, sore knees, rolled ankles the lot! If I could do it all again I would, with a rest first 😂. The children deserve every last penny and that's what they're going to get. Thank you all so much. Mr Henley. X
