Who are Start Living Today PD?

Start Living Today PD is a support group for people living with Parkinson's and that means friends and family too. We have three words at our core : Positive Motivated Happy.

Founder:

Founder Heidi diagnosed age 37 in 2014 wanted to show that life doesn't simply stop due to Parkinson's. People can still Aspire to challenges, be shown to Believe in themselves and they will Achieve!

So How Can You Help?

Posters & Leaflets are great ways to reach people. Bags & Pens have been proven to be even more effective .

Unfortunately these items are expensive unless bought in bulk which by funding them from my personal pension I'm currently unable to do.

For Example:

* Posters:

10 posters cost: £1.20 each plus VAT & £2.99 Delivery.

100 cost: 48p each £47.99 . .

Kind of answers its self!! That's a saving of £72.01!

So your morning coffee could buy a poster, add a cake you've got a bag (£5.50) across all the network we can do this! Just think how much good that poster will do in one waiting room . . will you skip your coffee for one morning please?

Start Living Today PD is all about the "can do" realistic, but holding hands whilst climbing the mountain. No matter how rough the path gets we reminding people to keep their heads up to enjoy the views on the way.

As one member wrote "We are the most positive parkies on the planet" (member from Western Australia) help us reach as many as we can.
