St Austell Youth Brass Band are delighted to be one of just ten Youth Brass Bands in the UK to be invited to perform at the 2018 National Youth Brass Band Entertainment Finals in Blackpool! The last time the Youth Band were invited to attend was 1999 so this is probably a once in a lifetime chance for the current members. In order to attend the event we need to raise the funds to transport the children to Blackpool and provide them with accommodation so that they get a good night's sleep before their performance on Sunday 11th February. The Youth Band is currently made up of 35 players aged between 10 and 19 years old. We appreciate all offers of help to make sure the young brass musicians can experience this fantastic event that will provide memories that will last forever, and hopefully inspire them to continue developing their musical talents.
