Myself and My Wife had gone for a routine 38 week scan (She has Ulcerative Colitis so needed more monitoring) Only to find out that our Daughter Penny Mae had no heartbeat. The News devastated the family and we had to leave hospital and head home, My wife had been given a Pill to induce the labour (You have to still give a natural Birth even though the Baby is no longer alive). We returned to Hospital 2 days later and gave birth to our beautiful Daughter.
You never know how you feel about spending time with a tiny version of Yourself that you know sadly won't be coming home with you until your in that position. It was the best thing that happened for us as we felt the connection with out Baby even though sadly she was in the Arms of Angels.

The purpose of the Cuddle Cot is to keep the Baby's Body cool to preserve it, this gives you time to spend with your Baby and time to say your goodbyes to your little Angel. We were told the Cot can allow you to spend time with your Baby for up to a week!

This Device helped make things slightly easier (it's never easy) and we want to raise some Money to get our local Hospital Calderdale Royal a new Cuddle Cot, and when we have achieved it......... we are going to do it again and again
