Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
A week ago I renewed my membership at my local leisure center, now I've signed up to the Swimathon in a bid to not only try to get fit, but raise some money at the same time! 2.5k is 100 lengths of a swimming pool, at the moment I can manage around 30 (and pretty much struggle to breathe) so this is going to be quite a challenge!
Half of the sponsorship I receive will be donated to Torbay Hospital: League of Friends, in memory of Nancy Fraser and the other half will go to Marie Curie
Swimathon 2017 is supporting Marie Curie, a charity providing care and support to people living with a terminal illness at the end of their lives. The donations made to this page will help Marie Curie to care for more people across the UK living with any terminal illness, and their families, at the time when they need it most.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
