The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Steph brown a 54 year old resident of Kenwyn care home in Truro is putting the “fun” into “fundraising” with a planned tandem skydive. Wearing her superwoman costume she aims to raise money for a local lady in Redruth community.
Steph who has been a resident at Kenwyn care home for the past 10 years is hoping to raise £1000 in support of Savannah a young lady from the local area who needs a more accessible linoleum flooring within her home. Savannah was recently diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (A genetic condition affecting her body's connective tissue) and has been given a wheelchair in support of her limited mobility.
Steph who has never been one to shy away from a challenge uses a wheelchair everyday herself but wanted to support savannah the best way she could. When Steph moved in to kenwyn she removed the carpet on her room and installed a smoother linoleum so she could move about easier and highly recommended the same for the young lady. Steph is hoping to raise enough money to get linoleum throughout Savannah's entire home.
Acting general manager justine thelwell said “we are all so proud of steph for surpassing everyone s expectations with her exciting adventures. Other residents alongside the staff at the home are all supporting steph in her sponsored skydive and we will all be cheering her on as she aims to beat her target goal.
Steph said “i feel very proud To be able to help savannah and thank you in advance to everyone who donates and supports me for my cause.
due to unforeseen circumstances the skydive has bin delayed however it will be going ahead so please support and give what you can
