Story
I have been asked to set up this Just Giving Page on behalf of Pat Chrimes, who is a member of the Royal British Legion Women's Section
The Royal British Legion and Parish Council are not allowed to give money to clean refurbish any memorial it has to come from donations from people in the village/Town where the memorial is situated.
In this centenary year of WW1 it is right and fitting that those men from our village who never returned home to their loved ones, that we have cleaned and their names regilted in their memory.
If we are able to raise more than the £400 needed we would like to purchase a bench to site in the village as a lasting memory of this special year. Towns and villages are all working too commemorate this centenary year Cuddington & Sandiway can do this.
