GIVING ANIMALS A SECOND CHANCE.
'The Association for Abandoned Animals Sanctuary – The AAA – houses 95 dogs, all abandoned and mostly come from the streets.
Our mission is to shelter these poor abandoned animals, treat them for any injuries or illness that they may have, and then place them for adoption. There is never a time limit for how long a dog can remain in our care.
We are a registered Charity VO/0092. We rely on donations to continue our work and receive no governmental funds.'
I have done some weekend volunteer work for AAA Malta and it is both heart rending the condition that many of the dogs arrive in but the care, devotion, love of the volunteers allows them to recover and be re-homed with a proper, caring new owner.
