I'm doing the Great South Run for Tyler.

Since the age of 12, Tyler Murphy has been living with a brain tumour which has totally transformed his life. Now 20, he has had more than 20 operations to try to remove as much of it as possible. A year ago the tumour grew suddenly and Tyler had a stroke, which saw him undergo three more operations and has left him with a number of health issues. Despite being robbed of all of his teenage years, Tyler never complains. In fact he puts all his efforts into his charity, Tyler's Trust, which supports other young people dealing with major health issues and their families.

On Saturday, October 22, I'm running the Great South Run to raise money for our Together for Tyler campaign. We are urgently trying to raise £30,000 to match the local council's contribution so Tyler can have the adaptations to his house he desperately needs. Once we raise £20,000 the work can start.

Tyler has never asked for help himself during everything he's been through but now that is exactly what he needs to give him a chance to have his independence back. Please help if you can. Thank you.
