Please help the Mid and West Wales Firefighter Recruits raise as many funds as they can in their remaining 3 weeks for two very worthy causes. The recruits anticipate climbing 2090 steps in one activity wearing full PPE with breathing apparatus and the full equipment list needed for high rise buildings shared between them. This figure represents the amount of steps climbed by the American Firefighters in the September the 11th World Trade Centre Attacks in 2001.

Nell's Journey

Nell is a five year old little girl who woke up recently with excruciating pain in her neck, after having scans it was confirmed she had a rare tumor inside her spinal cord and has grown among all the major nerves and blood vessels, so any significant growth or removal of this tumor will cause paralysis or even Nell will end up unable to breath for herself.The words the doctors used “it couldn’t be in a worse place”So far the doctors at The Heath hospital have had to do a life threatening operation to just get tissue for a Biopsy so that they could get a diagnosis, which was successful but the operation has left Nell unable to walk and now has no use of her left arm at all.
