Refurbished and Recycled Bikes for Gaza

The Palestinian Youth Corps(PYC) are sending a container of refurbished bikes to Gaza and they need your help!

The PYC is a Gaza based volunteer organisation committed to community development, freedom and human rights.

Working in partnership with organisations in the Netherlands, PYC aims forc the refurbishment of a container of bikes by April 2021.

The Palestinian Youth Corps is proud to boast that it founded the first women's cycling club in Palestine, 'not only for sports, but to highlight the reality of women's rights.'

These bicycles will also help students to reach their schools. Moreover, some bicycles will be used in sports activities to highlight the reality of movement and mobility in Palestine

Because of the blockade of Gaza however, shipping costs are extremely high and the PYC needs to raise £3,700. Two donors have already generously gifted £700 so we are now asking you to put your foot to the pedal, raise the remaining £3,000 needed to get the bikes in and break the Gaza blockade.
