Once again, we are offering a Christmas tree recycling service in January. For a £6 donation, the Town Council depot team will collect your Christmas tree, convert it to compost using our Eco Green Shredder.

📍 Collection Areas & Dates

The depot team will collect from Amersham and the following surrounding villages:

Little Chalfont, Hyde Heath, Chalfont St Giles, Winchmore Hill,

Penn Street.

Collection window: 2nd–13th January

Days: Monday–Friday only (no weekend collections)

We can also collect trees in Gerrards Cross and Chalfont St Peter, but only on Thursday 8th January.

📝 How to Book

Once you’ve made your donation, please email info@amersham-tc.gov.uk with your name collection address, your preferred date of collection (please give at least 24 hours’ notice and noting the collection dates noted above) and your donation reference

Please ensure that on the date of collection trees are left in a visible location in your garden or outside your property.

🌱 Supporting Local Sustainability

All donations will be reinvested into the Town Council’s 2026 wildflower and sustainability projects.

The mulch created from recycled trees will be used throughout the town’s open spaces.
