This fundraiser is in memory of our friendly resident Steve, who sadly passed away in January. I'm hoping to bring the community together to raise money for local charities in his honour.

I've had many conversations with Steve over the last three years I've lived in Sandwich, but I never knew that much about him. He'd often comment on my colourful hair and we would chat for awhile, and he always brightened my day.

When I saw flowers where he used to sit outside the Co-Op, I was more upset than I would have imagined, mourning over a virtual stranger. I really wanted to do something for him, in his memory. This is my way of trying to do a little something in his honour, to raise a toast to say 'Steve, you'll be missed', raising money for charity in his memory.

All monies raised will go to local charity, Porchlight, which has branches all over Kent.
