Weʼre raising £750 to The Rose Blossom Trust. For families who are suffering with Dravet Syndrome.
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
I am writing to ask for your support in the form of donations on behalf of The Rose Blossom Trust.
The Trust set up in 2011 when my friends Natalie and Mark Chapmans beautiful twin daughters were diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome.
Nat and Mark set up the Trust in the hope that we can help, not only the lives of their girls, Darcie Rose & Evie Blossom, but also those other families who are also suffering with Dravet Syndrome.
Dravet Syndrome is a catastrophic form of epilepsy which includes uncontrollable seizures, behavioral problems and developmental delays, speech issues, sensory disorder, sleep difficulties, balance issues, increased risk of SUDEP (Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy), regression, diminished quality of life, feeding tubes, ataxia, reduced life expectancy. THIS IS DRAVET SYNDROME.
The Trust aims to educate and share knowledge with the public about Dravet Syndrome, through publicity at our events and our website and Facebook page. Our intention is for the Trust to give a little 'sunshine' to families who care for a child or adults with Dravet Syndrome. Caring for those with Dravet is emotionally, physically and financially draining.
For more information on how the raised money is spent, please feel free to visit our website-www.roseblossomtrust.co.uk or facebook page.
Darcie Rose gained her angel wings on the 10th December 2015, she left a huge hole in the lives of everyone she met. Therefore, we must continue the fight to raise awareness and help those affected by this awful condition.
On the 12/5/18 myself and 4 friends will be completing Europeans Toughest Mudder at Belvoir Castle. Toughest Mudder an 8 hour overnight obstacle course designed to push the team to their limits. Additionally on the 8/9/18 and 9/9/18 at Cholmondeley Castle we will be also be completing Back to Back Tough Mudders: 13 Mile x2 event over 2 days.
Thank you for taking the time to read and in advance for your support.
