Story
From the 10th May myself and 20+ other cyclists will set off from the vitality stadium Bournemouth and over three days cycle the 300 miles back to Turf Moor Burnley for the final game of the 2018 season.
All funds raised will go directly to the Barry Kilby Prostate Cancer Appeal. Former Chairman and current BFC Vice Chairman Barry Kilby set up this fund following his own battle with Prostate Cancer. He has funded prostate cancer testing days at a number of North West Football Clubs with amazing results some men who had displayed no symptoms of illness were found to have prostate cancer and given the relevant treatment. Barry firmly believes that using football stadia for this purpose takes away the stigma from this test and encourages groups of men to come down and get tested. It has certainly worked so far.
