    Story

I started FFDKids to take disabked children and young cares fishing because my son Natty wanted to take his friends, he has Right Hemiplegic cerebral palsy and finds it hard using a rod and reel.

I decided to start the group to help other disabled children and young carers (siblings of disabled children or children of disabled parents) to get them out for a while and try a relaxing and fullfilling hobby.

One lad that came was pretty much a loner, didn't talk to people... not even him mum, he just wanted to sit in his room and play Xbox but now he is a regular on the bank with his own equipment and interacting with loads of people, he loves fishing and won't stop going on about it... what a great change!

A lot of his friends are also disabled, hence the group.

Thank you to everyone that has donated so far, especially Bil Baggins from The Carp Crusaders who is pushing this in the group! We are at £100 at the moment, if everyone that follows facebook.com/FFDKids gives just 50p we would smash the target and would get all the kids a little something extra. Please help where you can, if you can't afford anything then don't worry, just share... every share will help! Thanks again people, your making a trip for the kids to remember!
