Story
This woman has lived at the same address the whole time I have known her and has only ever had 1 electric wheelchair but now, due to government disability cuts and other external factors, she cannot afford another electric wheelchair and thus has to push herself across an uneven field and path to get home or, alternatively, down an uneven pavement and up a steep hill to reach her house. All the while carrying her shopping on the back of her wheelchair, causing her to be unbalanced and having to cross roads whilst other drivers show no consideration towards her as she has to slowly and methodically push herself off curbs and onto them in fear of tipping over or buckling a wheel. An electric wheelchair would make all this void as she could get across the uneven paths easily and make her way to and from the local Tesco without needing the help of the public or being exhausted when she gets home. In return for your donations, I will run from Oxford Road Manchester, to Blakey Moor road in Blackburn.
