Story
Thanks for coming to our St Marys mums and kids on the run crowdfunding page.
We are a group of mums with kids in St Marys Primary School in Eccles who have committed to training together to run the City of Salford Women’s 5.25 Mile Run to raise money for Sports Equipment at our kids School.
We are delighted that this run has coincided with the school launching the Daily Mile for pupils and loved the idea of school not only encouraging our children to be more active but also us doing our bit as parents and therefore making the time to keep fit whilst raising funds for the benefit of our kids.
So far there we are 9 mums (with kids in nursery, year 1 and year 4) training for the run and we are eager to encourage other mums to join us on this local run to raise money for this great cause.
The run takes place on Sunday 26th November and for further information on the route, how to sign up (go on....) or just to cheer us on please refer to this link.
Thanks soo much for your support. We hope this also encourages more mums to do something similar.
