On the 100th anniversary of the ending of WW1, a specially designed plaque has been commissioned to commemorate the former players of Stockport County Football Club who gave their lives in the conflict. The plaque will be mounted on the exterior wall of Edgeley Park and unveiled at a special event to take place before County's game on Sat 17th November 2018. This high quality solid bronze 900 cm x 600 cm plaque is being cast by one of the leading UK producers (the pattern mold currently being used in production is shown above) and features the Club badge from the period. Donations are requested to help cover the cost of producing this unique item, that will forever remain as a lasting public tribute to our former players who made the supreme sacrifice.

It is hoped that we will be able to raise funds in excess of the cost of the plaque and these will all be donated to The Royal British Legion and presented at the unveiling ceremony.
