I am the activities co-ordinator at stoke house nursing home, as everyone is aware that since starting my position at stoke house I have taken our clients on various outings to Skegness,garden centres,local events and cinemas.we run events within the home and from staff pj days and sponsor silences etc and our manger is going out into the local community to pick up poo and we are getting community involved also. we are constantly looking at ways to raise money so our clients have the best lifes while at stoke house and make memories. every day is lived and going out is a big part of there day to day life's. so to get us from our home to there it costs us so much on transport hire and we can only go out a couple times a month so now at stoke house are doing another event to raise money and work with the community we have our manger lee bratchley-clark is going out into the local community to do a sponsored poop a scoop on the 7th April 2018 so we are looking to raise as much as possible to help us hit our target for our very own mini bus if you would like to sponsor us it would be grateful. we at stoke house appreciate how important it is to go out into the community even if it just to go shopping or to pop to the library it is a very big part of a day to day activities in everyone's life so we are aiming and giving our self's a year to raise the funds so we can own our own mini bus and enjoy lots more outings and see different places we can get to as we have made a wish list tree of were we would like to go over the next years and hopefully we can reach our target and fulfil our travel lists. thank you for taking time to ready this and thank you if you have donated if you would like to come along to any of our events please call the home to see what our staff are up in the future.
