Story
We want to kick off fund-raising to restore the fast deteriorating fabric of St. Peters Parish Church in Stockport
The Church, built in 1768, is suffering major problems with it's roof, eaves and bell tower. Earlier temporary roofing repairs are no longer sufficient to address the problems confronting this Grade II listed place of worship described by Historic England as "at immediate risk of further rapid deterioration or loss of fabric".
Please help preserve this iconic building whose name is synonymous with one of Stockport's historic landmarks, St. Peters Square. All donations gratefully received.
