I am looking to try and raise £2500 to purchase a wheelchair that can be used on West Kirby beach.

Recently my friend visited Florida and the hotel he stayed in had a wheelchair that was able to go on the beach and into the water. When I saw the pictures from his holiday, I was so impressed with this chair it made me think how useful it would be to have one at our local beach in West Kirby and how much this would benefit local adults and children who use wheelchairs.

We live in such a lovely location where people can walk to Hilbre Island and enjoy the beach, how good would it be if we could also make this accessible for wheelchair users. We also have a local Sailing Centre that would be perfect to store the chairs and take bookings.

I have searched UK providers and it looks like the cost of such a chair would be minimum £2500 so I would like to try raise this amount initially to purchase one.
