Susie is a freelance Producer/Director with a special interest in the Middle East, making charity films in Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon.
Having spent time with a group of Syrian women seeking refuge in neighbouring Lebanon, she was struck by their incredible resilience, hope and strength to carry on each day despite not knowing whether they will ever return home.

She's had a difficult journey, having been misdiagnosed and refused operations to find out how to cure her condition. Sophie is desperate to be a mum, and is aware her only option left now is to freeze her eggs.
When she decided to set up a Crowdfunding Page, she never expected people to be so incredibly supportive and generous. With their help, Sophie was able to raise £4,080, and has been given the opportunity to create another life.
