Sue's bench has finally arrived! And how lovely to coincide with such a sunny weekend. Thanks to everyone's generous donations, we have installed this lovely green oak bench on the riverside just past Hampton Court Palace.

The location is perfect, it is in front of a lovely tree, and it is very peaceful to sit looking at the water. As you can see, Chip approves

How to find it -

Come out of Hampton Court Palace onto the towpath and turn left to walk towards Kingston. After the gold-painted railings of the palace gardens, the towpath splits into a high road and a low road. Go along the low path nearest the river and it is the 9th bench along. It's just after the stairs and gate leading into Home Park. Sitting on the bench, you are facing the Ditton Skiff club and the Albany pub in Thames Ditton. You can't miss it really x
