Story
Hello there! I'm Suki. I am nearly 4 years old. I am an Akita Inu and my name means "love" in Japanese.
I am looking for help to fund an operation I urgently need.
My forever family adopted me about 3 years ago from a lady who couldn't cope with my overly boisterous nature - I made bouncy, flouncy Tigger look pretty moribund in comparison! And I had been in two other homes before that one.
I have been diagnosed with cruciate ligament disease - basically the ligament in my "knee" is destroyed.
No more bouncy!
Now I can only limp about on three legs and I am in constant pain.
My loving family are heartbroken over the news of this crippling diseases.
For a large dog like me (35kg) the only suitable treatment is surgery BUT that surgery will cost £2,750.
Please can you help me?
