Meet Ryan. He's 19 and currently homeless in Greater Manchester.

I saw Ryan on Sky News recently and to say I felt heartbroken watching his story is an understatement. Click here for video or watch below. Sadly, he has found himself in unfortunate circumstances of being homeless and vulnerable from such a young age (since he was 15). My instinct was to find Ryan after seeing the interview and at the very least make sure he was safe...finally after some research I managed to track him down and have been in regular contact with him ever since.

**UPDATE** Since the interview a few weeks back, Ryan has been lucky enough to find some temporary sheltered accommodation in Ashton-Under-Lynne (Greater Manchester). However, he is still in need of funds to pay the centre a weekly fee to guarantee his space there.

Every £43 raised will keep Ryan safe and off the streets for another week...let's collaborate and make a difference and keep Ryan safe for at least the next 6+ months until he can hopefully find himself in a better situation...

I know a few people donated before when I originally set this page up, and the funds as you know were distributed to Ryan who was extremely grateful and bought a few new changes of clothes :)

Ryan is a lovely and brave young man. His strength is inspiring and hopefully once he finds himself in better circumstances he will have the opportunity to create a fulfilling future for himself in whatever path he decides to take. He has some qualifications, retail sales experience and experience working in a hospital two days a week from when he was doing a healthcare course (which sadly he has had to put on hold for now due to his circumstances). All of that plus so much life experience already at his age I think would make him a great candidate for a variety of jobs...however the priority at the moment is to keep him safe and get him into accommodation and a stable environment.
