The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

to support the rehabilitation work that are being carried out in Tamil Nadu to bring back the victims of recent brutal attack in Tamil Nadu, to a normal living. We believe that its the right time to share the pain of the victims by some means. The people are attacked just because they support the fellow human who raised their voice against the ban on Jallikattu.

For information on Jallikattu please visit: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-india-36798500

We have a team of volunteers, who have already dedicated their time and effort to identify the basic needs of the victims.

The updates on rehabilitation process can be seen here: https://www.facebook.com/tamilpeopleuk

    What needs to be done:
    1. The victims need medical screening and treatment, as they have been brutally attacked by using strong stones, and metal rods. The volunteers have informed that women and children have not been screened after the attack for any internal injuries.

    2. They have been pushed into a state where they are both physically and psychologically weak, as they have gone through abusive words, threats and inappropriate behaviours of the TNPolice. They need a counselling support to bring their life back to normal.

    3. There are other crucial supports have been identified, by the volunteers who analysed the situation. There are people who have gone missing after this depressing incident, their family needs support to find what happened to them.

    4. They are economically challenged as their fish market has been burnt by authorities using phosphorous, they can't work as they are physically attacked, even if some can work, they cannot preserve the fishes without right equipments, they lost all their essentials for earning in the fire.

We kindly request you to provide your support as soon as possible and as much as you can to bring back the innocent victims to a normal living standard.
