This time last year Tadhg was fighting for his life after being found unconscious in Georgetown, Kentucky USA. A year on Tadhg had defied all the odds and he has arrived home to the UK to be with his family. Tadhg is brain damaged and he is being cared for from home with his family by his side. Tadhg and his loved ones are adapting to a new way of life and want the best for him. When at Frazier Rehabilitation Institute in Louisville, Tadhg responded incredibly well to the emotional support dog, as part of the NeuroRehab Program. When Tadhg, who is not able to speak, comes into contact with a dog his face instantly lights up. This page has been set up help raise funds for a support dog for Tadhg. Tadhg's Mother, Trisha, has researched charities for emotional support dogs but due the current wait time has decided to try and raise the funds herself. A support dog will be Tadhg’s close companion, his man’s best friend.

To help raise money to fund a support dog Tadhg's family and friends will be hosting a clothes sale at Longstanton Village Hall provisionally on 21 August 2021. We hope people will come along on the day and buy something.
