Story
The money we raise will be kept safe and administered by Morningside Traders Association.
The fund will be open to all independent businesses in the area. They can apply for funds to help them get back on their feet after the crisis. Criteria for awarding money will be decided by MTA assisted by members of the local community.

4 years agoNow that lockdown has eased up and lots of places are coming back again, the time has come to wind up this appeal and start giving out the money. As well as the wonderful £2,120 you have raised here, we have "offline" donations which will bring us up to £2,500! We are giving each independent business between Holy Corner and Sth Morningside school an application form. Please encourage people to apply!

I've lived in Morningside for 19 years and love it. It's friendly, interesting and i can always find what I want from cafes to hardware to gifts. I miss meeting my friends there or just enjoying a browse or a coffee on my own. I want it to survive and thrive after this.
