In July 2018 the Leigh RUFC Dragons team will be going on a tour to Australia! The team’s base will be Brisbane, staying at the Gold Coast Recreation Centre. The tour will then see Leigh RUFC Dragons play 5 games against teams from around the Eastern Australia region.

The tour will be a trip of a lifetime for the players and over the next two years Leigh RUFC Dragons has a programme of fundraising planned to fund the trip with the target that it is as close to cost neutral as possible for the players. The tour will also act as a development focus for both current and future players to aim for over the next two years, bringing the team, coaches and supporters even closer together as one unit.
