In September 2017 our very good friends were involved in a serious car accident and as a result my beautiful 10 year old Goddaughter, Olivia, lost her right leg. Life for them changed forever. Liv has shown an amazing strength of character to battle back from this - first learning to walk again with a prosthetic limb to now working hard to live her new reality to the full.

The equipment that goes along with needing prosthetics is expensive. A liner to make her leg much more comfortable to wear is £1,000 alone and so, on the 24th June 2018, I plan to run my first ever half marathon in order to raise money for this very special girl. I've never run this far before and so this will be quite a challenge for me but it will be achieveable if I can show even a small percentage of the determination shown by Olivia in the last nine months.

Liv is a true inspiration. She is a young lady who we are all very proud and i hope to be able to raise whatever I can to make her more comfortable. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support that you are able to give
