Dom and I are running the Great Birmingham Run on Sunday, May 6 for a charity that’s v. close to our hearts. The Kings Heath Cat Club (KHCC) is a collective of cat fosterers in South Birmingham that receives no government funding, and their vet bills are massive. Without fundraisers, donations and support from the good folk at White Cross Vets, the KHCC would cease to exist.

Not only does this group of cool cats and substitute kitten mums rescue strays from the streets, they also do a pretty amazing job of supporting the local cat community, including those with missing cats across the city (including our own, Lottie, who’s now home nearly one year on after three weeks and two miles of misplaced adventure and a temporary residency at her local McDonald’s).

It’s for this reason we came across the KHCC, but we continue to follow and support them for the ace work they do for the rest of catkind.

NB: Probs worth noting that I’ve never done a 10k before... 🙄
