Story
Samuel Davies is planning to swim one mile at Ramsey Leisure Centre on Sunday 20th August 2017 in memory of his Great Uncle Malcolm, who sadly died after a short and brave fight against cancer in April of this year.
Malc's dying wish was that any memorial to him should take the form of donations to the Wells-next-to-the-Sea (Norfolk) Lifeboat Station.
All donations, that Samuel raises will go to the Wells Lifeboat Shannon Appeal. Wells is to replace their Mersey Class Lifeboat with a Shannon Class Lifeboat. Funding is still needed for an entirely new Lifeboat House to accommodate the larger boat.
